Ahhhhh! what the hell am I doing? LOL - The daily turmoils of an indie dev…

So. I was working on the protagonists animations, and have a really nice fluid attack animation drafted, but of course its almost TOO detailed, and wont work for what is meant to be a fast paced platformer. This got me to thinking about this and that, and I came to the conclusion that maybe an adventure platform game might not be the right ‘medium’ to tell this story.  This got me thinking of converting it to an RPG style of game but for that, I’m going to need a lot more planning and setup.

Anyways, Geoknight is pseudo-on hold while I figure some stuff out. Game development has always been a hobby of mine that I really enjoy, and I want to work on something I can be proud of, so I don’t want to rush things. Apparently a 56 page game design doc wasn’t enough planning… or maybe it was TOO much planning which is why with all these details I think it might be better suited for an RPG. Who knows.
